When an opportunity presents itself to combine travel, catching up with dear friends, and shooting a portrait session, I am all in. Ever since my dear friend Jessica moved to Indiana to be closer to family and pursue work there, we ad talked about me making the trip to visit her and explore nearby Louisville, KY. We finalized a time that worked for us both, and I had the privileged of getting to stay with her family, experience different cultural events happening in the area, and make time for a portrait session for both her and her husband Ryan. This time together was the perfect way to end a weekend together...walking through the woods of her family’s property, chasing after filtered sunlight, and shooting in the near-dry river bed as the sun set in the distance.
